Step-by-step guide
How to use this generator in four steps.
The Gmail Dot Variations Generator runs entirely in your browser. Enter an address, choose the alias styles you need, and export a ready-to-use pack in seconds.
Step 1 — Enter your Gmail address
Type or paste any personal Gmail or Googlemail address into the input field. The tool accepts addresses that already contain dots or a plus tag—it normalizes them automatically before generating.
Sample addresses you can try: janedoe@gmail.com, john.doe+shopping@gmail.com, or alexsmith@googlemail.com.
Step 2 — Review the normalized version
Once submitted, the generator strips all dots from the local part and removes any existing plus tag. The result is the canonical form of your address—proof that every dotted variation delivers to the same inbox.
Step 3 — Browse and pick aliases
Dot variations are grouped by the number of inserted dots (one-dot, two-dot, and so on). Plus aliases appear with quick-pick preset tags like +newsletter, +shopping, or +trial, and you can type a custom tag of your own.
Click any alias to copy it to your clipboard, or use the batch-select controls to grab a larger set at once.
Step 4 — Export as TXT or CSV
Download your chosen aliases as a plain-text file or a CSV. Use the exported list to set up Gmail filters, track which services share your address, or populate test accounts during QA.
Tips for getting the most out of the generator
- Use plus aliases when you need per-service tracking (e.g.,
you+netflix@gmail.com). - Use dot variations when a site blocks the plus sign in email fields.
- Combine both: a dotted address with a plus tag gives you a unique alias that still filters cleanly.
- Everything happens locally—your email address never leaves your browser.
